CHAPTER 675
An Act to require certain tags for placement upon motor vehicles to be
supplied certain persons by the Commissioner of the Division of Motor
Vehicles; to prescribe the fees therefor; and to provide for the
disposition of the revenues therefrom.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. § 1. The Commissioner of the Division of Motor Vehicles upon
request shall supply any amateur radio operator licensed by the federal
government or an agency thereof, metal tags to be attached to the regular
license plates of the motor vehicle owned by such person showing thereon
the number assigned such person by the federal government or agency
thereof to designate the radio station operated by such person.
2. The Commissioner shall charge a fee of fifty cents for each
tag issued under the provisions of this act. The revenue derived under
the provisions of this act shall be paid into the State treasury to the
credit of the fund set aside for the construction and maintenance of the
State highway system.
