CHAPTER 669
An Act to amend and reenact § 4-112 of the Code of Virginia, relating to
sales of certain beverages to minors, and concealment of sales or
consumption of beverages, so as to include certain other persons
therein.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
a That § 4-112 of the Code of Virginia be amended and reenacted as
ollows:
4-112. * (a) No person licensed as a retailer under this chapter
shall sell, or offer for sale, or permit the consumption of any beverages
behind a screen or any other similar device in his place of business which
screen or device may conceal such sale, offering for sale, or consumption
from the view of persons who may be in such place of business and not
behind such screen or other similar device.
(bo) If any person licensed as a retailer under this chapter shall,
except pursuant to the provisions of §§ 4-48, 4-49 or 4-50, sell any beverage
as defined in this chapter to any person and at the time of such sale shall
know or have reason to believe that the person to whom the sale is made is
intoxicated, he shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
