CHAPTER 634

An Act to amend and reenact § 22-208 of the Code of Virginia, relating
to contracts between school boards and teachers, so as to prescribe the
duties of the State Board of Education in connection therewith.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
tn That § 22-208 of the Code of Virginia be amended and reenacted as

ollows:

§ 22-208. The State Board of Education shall prescribe rules and
regulations to enable the local school board, in employing teachers, * to
make contracts with any of such teachers as to it may appear advisable,
to continue in effect for more than one year, the: provisions of such con-
tracts as to * the expiration and termination thereo f to be * prescribed by
said rules and regulations.
