An Act to authorize and empower the governing board of Radford College,
Woman’s Division of the Virginia Polytechnic Institute, to grant to
the Appalachian Electric Power Company certain easements of right
of way on and across certain property of Radford College, Woman’s
Division of the Virginia Polytechnic Institute. fH 817]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. The governing board of Radford College, Woman’s Division of the
Virginia Polytechnic Institute, is authorized and empowered to grant and
convey unto the Appalachian Electric Power Company, subject to approval
by the Governor, easements of right of way for the construction, main-
tenance and operation of an electric power line on and across the property
of Radford College, Woman’s Division of the Virginia Polytechnic Institute,
said power line being necessary to serve a Boy Scouts’ Camp on property
conveyed by the College to the Boy Scouts’ Camp. The property involved
and the proposed location of the power line are shown on certain maps of
the Appalachian Electric Power Company dated June 20, 1950, and
designated as T-1050-P, to which reference is hereby made. The Attorney
General shall approve the form of the conveyance.
2. An emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
