An Act to amend Chapter $48 of the Acts of Assembly of 1928, approved
March 21, 1928, which provided a new charter for the city of
Lynchburg, by adding a section numbered 64-a, prescribing the effect
of certain provisions of the charter as to tax sales and aeons. H 7971

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That Chapter 343 of the Acts of Assembly of 1928, approved March
21, 1928, be amended by adding a section numbered 64-a, as follows:

§ 64-a. The provisions of § 64, as amended, shall apply to lands
sold for taxes whether the same were purchased prior or subsequent to
the enactment of the section, as amended; but this section shall not operate
to defeat any person’s right of redemption provided by law.
