CHAPTER 622

An Act to amend and reenact § 8 of Chapter 206 of the Acts of Assembly
of 1918, approved March 14, 1918, being the charter of the town of
Dungannon, in Scott County, the section relating to town officers, the
composition of council and terms of office.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That § 3 of Chapter 206 of the Acts of Assembly of 1918, approved
March 14, 1918, be amended and reenacted as follows:

§ 3. That the officers of said town shall consist of five councilmen,
a mayor, a recorder and a sergeant. The mayor and councilmen shall com-
pose the council of said town. Said officers shall hold their office for * two
years, and until their successors are duly elected and qualified.
