An Act to amend and reenact § 65-44 of the Code of Virginia, relating
to workmen’s compensation insurance coverage for occupational
diseases; and to repeal §§ 65-48 and 65-45 of the Code of Virginia
relating to the same matters.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
7 That § 65-44 of the Code of Virginia be amended and reenacted as
ollows:

65-44. * The employer shall be liable for all occupational diseases
arising out of and in the course of employment pursuant to all provisions
of the Act applicable thereto.

2. That §§ 65-43 and 65-45 of the Code of Virginia are repealed.
