CHAPTER 470

An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered
65-18.1, relating to certain witnesses and to provide a means of
enforcing their attendance.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia be amended by adding a section num-
bered 65-18.1, as follows:

§ 65-18. 1. The clerk of the circuit court of the county or the hustings
or corporation court of the city in which a proceeding under this title is
pending, shall, upon the application of the Commission or any member or
deputy thereof, or any party in interest, issue subpoenas for and enforce
the attendance at such proceeding of any witnesses whose testimony is
sought.
