An Act for the relief of L. H. Firebaugh.

Approved April 1, 1952

__ Whereas, L. H. Firebaugh of Natural Bridge was erroneously assessed
with certain taxes by the State Corporation Commission and, due to an
error, was not advised thereof in time to permit a refund under § 58-1122
of the Code of Virginia; and

_ Whereas, the Commonwealth has no claim upon such taxes and L. H.
Firebaugh has no remedy at law; now therefore

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. There is hereby appropriated out of the proceeds of the gross receipts
road tax in the State treasury the sum of six hundred eighty-one dollars,
sixty-one cents, to be paid to L. H. Firebaugh on check of the State Treas-
urer issued on warrant of the Comptroller on vouchers signed by the State
Corporation Commission.
