An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding thereto a section num-
bered 46-877.1, relating to the extension of motor vehicles operators’

and chauffeurs’ licenses for certain persons. P

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia be amended by adding thereto a section
numbered 46-377.1, as follows:

§ 46-377.1. The operators license of any person issued under the pro-
visions of this section shall be held not to have expired during the period
of his service, if any, outside the Commonwealth of Virginia, in the armed
forces of the United States and six months thereafter. Any person whose
license is extended under the provisions of this chapter shall have docu-
mentary or other proof when operating any motor vehicle that he is en-
titled to the benefits hereof.

2. Anemergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
