CHAPTER 392
An Act to require the filing of certain statements and information on the
part of certain recipients of State funds; and to provide penalties for
noncompliance.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. § 1. All persons, firms, corporations, associations, groups, and or-
ganizations of whatsoever nature to which appropriations are made in the
act appropriating the public revenue by specific designation shall annually
file with the Comptroller a certified statement showing in detail the receipts
and expenditures thereof. Such statement shall show the compensation,
either by salary, bonus, or otherwise paid out to and paid any officer or
employee who receives in excess of one thousand dollars per year. It shall
be unlawful for the comptroller of this State to pay any appropriation to
any such of the foregoing unless such statement has been filed by the
association or organization to which this act and the appropriation are
applicable.
§ 2. The provisions of this act shall not apply to any State agency,
officer or employee.
