An Act to authorize the Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries, under
certain conditions, to prescribe a special hunting season for doe in
the county of Shenandoah. |

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia: .
1. §8 1. The Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries is authorized to
declare a special open season of such length as it may prescribe on doe
in the county of Shenandoah whenever in its opinion the same is necessary
in order to prevent damage to crops in such county. During such period
any landowner or any bona fide lessee, renter or tenant shall be permitted
to kill on the land owned or occupied by him, such number of doe as the
Commission may prescribe.
§ 2. The provisions of this act shall not in any way affect the season
or bag limit applicable in such county by general law or other regulation
of the Commission.
