An Act to amend and reenact § 1 of Chapter 98 of the Acts of Assembly
of 1946, approved March 4, 1946, which act provided the Public
Facilities District Law, so as to include certain counties therein.

1. That § 1 of Chapter 93 of the Acts of Assembly of 1946, approved
March 4, 1946, be amended and reenacted as follows:
§ 1. The short title of this act is Public Facilities District Law. The
powers and duties conferred or imposed by this act may only be exercised
and performed by the board of supervisors or other governing body of
any county having a population of more than five hundred but less than
one thousand per square mile and a land area of less than seventy but
more than thirty square miles, or of any county having a land area of
more than thirty square miles but less than eighty-five square miles, all
according to the last preceding United States census, or of any county
adjoining a county having a population of more than one thousand inhab-
tants per square mile, which county contains an urbanized fringe of a city,
lying within or without the State which city contains more than five
hundred thousand inhabitants.
