CHAPTER 337

An Act to amend and reenact § 33-111 of the Code of Virginia, relating to
the sale of materials to, and use of equipment by cities, towns, counties
and school boards by the State Highway Commission.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That § 33-111 of the Code of Virginia be amended and reenacted as
ollows:

§ 33-111. ** Sale of materials to, and use of equipment by cities,
towns, counties and school boards.—The Commission may lend or rent
equipment and sell materials and supplies used in the building or repairing
of roads and streets to any city, town, county, or school board **, upon such
terms and conditions as may be agreed upon by the Commission and such
city, town, county, or school board. Provided the governing body of such
city, town, county, or school board submits to the Commission a certificate
setting forth that the material or equipment cannot be furnished from
private sources within a reasonable time.
