CHAPTER 3

An Act to repeal Chap 1A of an Act entitled “An Act to incorporate

the city of Newport News in the county of Warwick, and to provide

a new charter therefor’, approved January 16, 1896, as amended,

which Chap 1A was enacted as Chap 557 of the Acts of Assem-

bly of 1950, approved April 7, 1950, and which h provides for a retire-
ment plan for city employees.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. Chap 1A of an Act entitled “An Act to incorporate the city of
Newport News in the county of Warwick, and to provide a new charter
therefor’, approved January 16, 1896, as amended, which Chap 1A
was enacted as Chap 557 of the Acts of Assembly of 1950, approved
April 7, 1950, is repealed.
2. An emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
