CHAPTER 280

An Act to amend and reenact § 22-71 of the Code of Virginia, relating
to bonds of certain clerks and deputy clerks so as to increase the
amount thereof.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1 7 That § 22-71 of the Code of Virginia be amended and reenacted as
ollows:

§ 22-71. The clerk of the school board shall be bonded in an amount
not less than * ten thousand dollars; and the deputy clerk, before perform-
ing any of the duties authorized in this chapter, shall be bonded in like
amount.
