An Act to authorize the Virginia State Hospital Board to convey to Walter
N. Robinson and William Glenn Robinson, by quitclaim, certain
real estate.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. § 1. The State Hospital Board is authorized and empowered, with
the written approval of the Governor, to sell for such consideration and
on such terms as it shall deem best, and to convey by quitclaim deed
executed by its chairman and under its seal, to Walter N. Robinson and
William Glenn Robinson all the right, title and interest of the Common-
wealth of Virginia and such Board in and to certain real estate, lying and
being in the town of Marion, county of Smyth, and being more particularly
described as follows:
All that lot, piece or parcel of land, being of a generally triangular
shape, located west of and fronting on State Highway 16 of South Com- .
merce Street, within the southern part of the town of Marion, Marion
Magisterial District, Smyth County, Virginia, bounded on the south by
the northern line of Pendleton Street (sometimes referred to as Water
Street) 35.5’; on the east by the western line of Highway 16 or South
Commerce Street 129’; on the north by the southern line of Herb Wright
lot 6’; on the west by a straight line beginning on the south side of the
Herb Wright line, approximately 6’ west of the western line of Highway
16 or South Commerce Street, thence running southwardly through the
eastern parts of lots No. 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10, to an iron stake in the northern
line of Pendleton Street or Water Street, and the iron stake is S 48° W 35.5’
west of the western line of State Highway 16, or South Commerce Street.
The lots No. 6 to 10, inclusive, are designated and shown on the “plat of
part of the ‘Y’ lot or shop tract of the Marion and Rye Valley R. R. prop-
erty, surveyed May 1948 by Walter L. Gollehon, C. S.”, and of record in
the Clerk’s office of the circuit court of Smyth County, Virginia, in Deed
Book 3, page 88. Being the same real estate conveyed by H. R. Farrington
and Laura E. Farrington, his wife, without warranty of title as to any
claim of the Commonwealth of Virginia, to Walter N. Robinson and
William Glenn Robinson, by deed dated October 26, 1950, and recorded in
Deed Book 110, page 394, Clerk’s office, Circuit Court of Smyth County.
§ 2. All moneys accruing from the sale herein authorized shall be
deposited in the State treasury to the credit of the general fund.
