CHAPTER 246

An Act to authorize the governing bodies of certain counties to establish
times of employment, provisions in connection therewith, and per-
sonnel systems for their employees. C356]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia: .
1. § 1. Any county having the county manager form of organization
and government under Chapter 11 of Title 15 of the Code of Virginia
is authorized to establish and prescribe for all employees of the county
the following provisions applicable to such employees:
(a) Normal work days and hours of employment therein ;
(b) Holidays;
(c) Days of vacation allowed;
(d) Days of sick leave allowed;
© Other provisions concerning the hours and conditions of employ-
ment;
(f) Plans of personnel management and control.
§ 2. Any such county shall have power to establish, alter, amend or
repeal at will any provision adopted under § 1 hereof.
An emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
