CHAPTER 178

An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered
28-77.1, relating to tongers’ licenses.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia be amended by adding a section numbered
28-77.1 as follows:

§ 28-77.1. The license to take clams or oysters by hand or tongs
or by any dredging device shall be of some durable material. All such
peentes shall be displayed on the side of the boat in a plainly visible
ocation.
