An Act to authorize and empower the Commission of Fisheries to grant
to the Commonwealth Natural Gas Corporation a certain permanent
easement of right of way under the waters of the James River between
Isle of Wight and Warwick Counties. '$ 277)

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. The Commission of Fisheries, subject to the approval of the Governor,
is authorized and empowered to grant and convey unto the Commonwealth
Natural Gas Corporation, its successors and assigns, upon such terms and
conditions as the Commission shall deem proper, a permanent easement of
right of way for the purpose of laying, maintaining, operating and remov-
ing a pipe line for the transportation of gas under the waters of the
James River. Such easement of right of way shall extend to the high
water mark on both sides of the river and shall run under the river between
Isle of Wight and Warwick Counties at a point approximately two
hundred feet east of, and parallel with, the James River Bridge.
