CHAPTER 76

AN ACT to prohibit fishing on Sunday in certain waters in Taze-
well County; and to prescribe penalties.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. §1. It shall be unlawful for any person to fish in any
manner on Sunday in the waters in Tazewell County except
in private ponds.

§2. Any person violating the provisions of this act shall
be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be pun-
ished by a fine not exceeding fifty dollars or confinement in jail
not exceeding ten days, or both.

2. An emergency exists and this act is in force from passage.
