CHAPTER 556

AN ACT to appropriate funds for payment of the salaries of the
judges of certain courts.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. There is hereby appropriated out of the general fund
in the State treasury for the period beginning March fifteen,
nineteen hundred fifty, and ending June thirty, nineteen hundred
fifty, in order to pay the salaries of any additional judges for the
Sixteenth and Thirty-fifth Judicial Circuits not to exceed four
thousand six hundred sixty-seven dollars. Such salaries and pay-
ments to be subject to the existing statutes governing salaries
and payments for judges of such courts generally.

2. An emergency exists and this act is in force from its
passage.
