CHAPTER 545

AN ACT to prohibit the taking of fish in certain counties by cer-
tain means, and to prescribe penalties for violations.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. § 1. It shall be unlawful for any person at any time to take
or attempt to take fish in the waters of the county of Russell by
means of gigging.

§ 2. Any person violating any provision of this act shall be
guilty of a misdemeanor and punished as provided by law.
2. An emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
