CHAPTER 544

AN ACT to amend and reenact § 28-88.1 of the Code of 1950, re-
lating to persons placing or using certain nets in certain creeks
in certain counties.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That § 28-88.1 of the Code of 1950 be amended and reenacted
as follows:

§ 28-88.1. In Chipoax creek in the counties of Surry and
Prince George.—It shall be unlawful for any person to place or
use set nets and fyke nets in Chipoax creek or Ward’s Creek in
the counties of Surry and Prince George.

Any person who violates any provision of this section shall be
guilty of a misdemeanor.
