CHAPTER 539
AN ACT to provide for firing the squirrel season in certain
counties; and to provide penalties for violations.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. § 1. It shall be unlawful for any person to hunt and kill
squirrels in the county of Brunswick at any time other than that
prescribed by law or pursuant thereto for the hunting of upland
game and birds.
§ 2. The provisions of this act shall not limit the rights of
landowners, tenants and other persons to hunt on their own lands
as now permitted by general law.
§ 3. Any person violating any provision of this act shall be
guilty of a misdemeanor and punished as provided by law.
