CHAPTER 511

AN ACT to amend and reenact § 28-7 of the Code of 1950 so as
not to prohibit members of the Commission of Fisheries
engaging in a fish or shellfish industry.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That § 28-7 of the Code of 1950 be amended and reenacted
as follows:

§ 28-7. Who to have interest in fisheries. — No * in-
spectors, captains or other employees of the Commission of Fish-
erties shall be engaged for market or profit in any fish or shellfish
industry in Virginia, either directly or indirectly, but this sec-
tion is not applicable to members of the Commission; provided,
however, that not more than one member shall be so engaged in
any fish or shellfish industry.
