AN ACT for the relief of the Commercial Credit Corporation.

Whereas, on February 17, 1948, an error was made by the
Division of Motor Vehicles in issuing its Title Certificate Number
3314238 on which certificate the Division of Motor Vehicles failed
to record a lien in favor of Commercial Credit Corporation, and
whereas the Commercial Credit Corporation has suffered a loss of
$693.50 by reason of such error, for the recovery of which it has
no remedy or redress at law or in equity; now, therefore,
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. There is hereby appropriated the sum of six-hundred ninety-
three dollars, fifty cents, to be paid to the Commercial Credit Cor-
poration, and the Comptroller is hereby authorized and directed to
draw his warrant therefor upon the State Treasurer for said sum,
payable to Commercial Credit Corporation, to be paid out of the
funds in the State treasury derived from the license fees on motor
vehicles, and deliver the same to the Commercial Credit Corpora-
tion upon obtaining from it a receipt in full by reason of the fore-
going.
