CHAPTER 315

AN ACT to provide the effect of certain references in statutes
adopted by the General Assembly of 1950.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. In order to avoid confusion in any case in which any act
passed at this session of the General Assembly contains a ref-
erence to any section of any Code of this State in force prior to
February one, nineteen hundred fifty, such reference shall be
deemed to be to the appropriate section of the Code of nineteen
hundred fifty unless the context of such act clearly indicates
otherwise.
