CHAPTER 309
AN ACT to authorize and direct the Treasurer of the State of
Virginia to pay unused amounts of a special bear and deer
stamp to the treasurer of certain counties for deposit in a
special fund subject to the order of the local governing body
of the county, less deduction of a percentage of the gross
amount on account of costs of administering this fund, for
the benefit of wild life in the county.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. § 1. The Treasurer of the State of Virginia is authorized
and directed to pay to the treasurer of Bath county, out of the
Game Protection Fund, all amounts in hand collected from the
sale of a special stamp to hunt and kill bear and deer in Bath
county, collected for the years nineteen forty-eight to the thirtieth
of June, nineteen fifty, less amounts paid in settlement of claims
for damages to crops by deer and livestock killed by bear, less
fifteen per centum of the gross amount collected on account of
administrative costs, to be deposited in a special fund by the
treasurer of Bath county, subject to the order of the governing
body of Bath county for the protection, interests and welfare of
wild life in Bath county.
