CHAPTER 247

AN ACT to amend and re-enact § 29-129.1 of the Code of 1950,
so as to provide a certain season for trapping muskrats.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That § 29.129.1 of the Code of 1950 be amended and re-
enacted as follows:

§ 29-129.1. Prescribing seasons for taking muskrats.—
Within the limits prescribed by law, the Commission shall have
power to prescribe the seasons for hunting and fishing, trapping
or otherwise taking fish and game, * except that the season for
trapping muskrats shall be January one to March fifteen. Noth-
ing herein contained shall be construed as repealing any special
act as to game, fish and trapping.
