CHAPTER 148

AN ACT to amend and reenact § 63-295 of the Code of 1950,
relating to inspection of certain homes by Board of Welfare
and Institutions.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That § 63-295 of the Code of 1950 be amended and re-
enacted as follows:

§ 68-295. Visitation and management of such homes.—In
the event that ¢@ detention home or parental school is so estab-
lished it shall be subject to visitation and inspection by the State
Board or its representatives and shall be furnished and carried
on so far as possible as a family home under the management
of a superintendent or matron, appointed from a list of eligibles
submitted by the State Board, and such other employees fox
such home as may be necessary.
