CHAPTER 12
AN ACT to amend and reenact § 1 of Chapter 190 of the Acts of
1948, relating to the shooting of fish in certain waters to
remove from its provisions the South fork of Holston River
in Washington County. { H 82]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That § 1 of Chapter 190 of the Acts of 1948 be amended
and reenacted as follows:
§ 1. It shall be lawful for any resident of this State, who
has a current license to fish, to take by means of shooting with
a rifle, suckers, red-horse and carp in the shoals of the waters
of Clinch River, within the limits of Scott County, except with-
in two hundred yards of the Speers Ferry dam, * during day-
light hours, from April fifteenth to May thirty-one, both in-
clusive, of any year, provided that the bag limit for such fish,
during any such open season shall not exceed fifteen in any one
day and one hundred in any one season.
An emergency exists and this act takes effect June one,
nineteen hundred fifty.
