CHAPTER 101
AN ACT to fix the season for hunting squirrels in certain coun-
ties and to prescribe penalties for violations. rH 104]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. No person shall hunt, capture, take or kill squirrels in the
counties of Charles City, James City, Lunenburg, New Kent,
York, Prince George, Princess Anne, Powhatan, Chesterfield,
Henrico, Augusta, Southampton, King and Queen, Dinwiddie,
King William, Elizabeth City, Hanover, Appomattox, Warwick
and Campbell at any other season than that fixed for the general
hunting of upland game as same may be changed by law. The
right of certain persons to hunt squirrels on their own lands
shall not be affected hereby. Any person violating this act shall
be guilty of a misdemeanor.
