Chap. 92.—An ACT to amend and reenact Section 3 of Chapter 360 of the Acts
ot Assembly of 1932, approved March 26, 1932, relating to filing fees with
applications for certificates of public convenience and necessity. {S 72]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That section three of chapter three hundred sixty of the
‘ts of Assembly of nineteen hundred thirty-two, approved March
enty-six, nineteen hundred thirty-two, be amended and reenacted
as to read as follows:
Section 3. Filing fees—Every motor vehicle carrier, upon
ing with the commission, an application for a certificate, shall
posit with the commission as a filing fee the sum of twenty-five
liars, and for the transfer of such certificates the sum of twenty-
‘e dollars, for approval of a lease the sum of five dollars (to
paid by the lessee) and for the issuance of a duplicate certificate
e sum of three dollars, said fees to be paid for the purpose of de-
aving the expenses of administering the provisions of law with
spect to the issuance of such certificate; provided, however, that
1 applicant for a certificate in lieu of an existing certificate, as
ovided by law, shall not be required to pay the fees prescribed
this section.
