Chap. 75.—An ACT to authorize the State Board of Corrections to conve
certain property. {[S 131

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. The State Board of Corrections is authorized, subject to
the written approval of the Governor first obtained, to convey to
such persons and upon such terms and conditions as it deems proper
certain real. estate, situated in Goochland County near Maidens
Post Office and described as bounded by a line beginning at a point
in the existing right of way line of the Rivanna Sub-Division of
The Chesapeake and Ohio Railway 50 feet southwesterly and radi-
ally from the center line of its main track, the said point also
being in center of China Creek, which is the property line dividing
the lands now or formerly owned by the Commonwealth and Mary
Stovall, and bears N. 9° 11’ W. through the said center line at
station 1644 plus 46; thence running southeasterly along the said
existing right of way line parallel with and 50 feet from the said
center line, which is on a 1° 36’ curve to the right, 170 feet more or
less, to a point radially opposite station 1642 plus 45; thence,
southwesterly on tangent 141.4 feet to a point 150 feet southwest-
erly and radially from the said center line at station 1643 plus 41;
thence northwesterly parallel with and 150 feet from the said
center line, which is on a 1° 36’ curve to the left, 31 feet to a point
in the property dividing line first above described ; thence N. 9° 11’
W. along the said property line up the center of China Creek 111
feet, more or less, to the point of beginning and containing twenty-
three hundredths of an acre more or less.
2. An emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
