Chap. 479.—An ACT to provide that in acquittals on charges of violating certain
provisions of law.with respect to the operation of motor vehicles, no report
thereof shall be made to, and no record thereof shall be kept by, the Division
of Motor Vehicles. {H 504]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
. If any person charged with a violation of the Motor Vehicle
Code, or of the Virginia Motor Vehicle Safety Responsibility Act,
or of any law of this State pertaining to the operator or operation of
any motor vehicle, or of any similar ordinance of any city, county
or town, shall be acquitted or dismissed on such charge, no report of
such charge, dismissal or acquittal shall be sent to the Division of
Motor Vehicles, and no record of such charge, dismissal or acquittal
shall be kept by such Division.
