Chap. 442.—An ACT to amend and reenact Section 3453 of the Code of Virginia
with reference to pay of officers and employees at the seat of BOT Bat

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That section three thousand four hundred fifty-three of the
Code of Virginia be amended and reenacted as follows:

Section 3453. Comptroller to pay officers and employees at stated
periods—The Comptroller is authorized and directed to draw his
warrants on the Treasurer for the payment of officers’ and employees’
salaries at the seat of government on such dates as may be prescribed by
him. Such salaries shall be paid at least semi-monthly and not later, in
any event, than ten days after the close of the pay roll period for which
such payment is made.
