Chap. 425.—An ACT to amend Chapter 173 of the Acts of Assembly of 1946,
approved March 12, 1946, which authorized the creation of Grandview State
Park Commission and conferred upon it certain powers and duties, by adding a
new section numbered 3-a, conferring certain additional powers upon the
Park Commission. {H 31]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That chapter one hundred seventy-three of the Acts of Assembly
of nineteen hundred forty-six, approved March twelve, nineteen hundred
porty-six, be amended by adding a new section numbered three-a as
ollows:
Section 3-a. In addition to other powers and duties conferred upon
the Park Commission it shall have power until such time as the park
is transferred to, and accepted by, the Virginia Conservation Commis-
sion, to enter into contracts, leases, or other arrangements with any
person, firm, corporation or association for the development or opera-
tion, or both, of the park. The Park Commission is authorized to fix
the terms of any such lease, contract or other agreement and to pre-
scribe how the revenues therefrom, if any, shall be paid and to what
purposes the same shall be devoted.
