Chap. 358.—An ACT to validate proceedings under an ordinance of the Common
Council of the city of South Norfolk, Virginia, to discontinue and vacate an
unnamed street extending from the intersection of Chesapeake Avenue and
Chesapeake Drive to Seaboard Avenue. [H 515]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. All proceedings had under an ordinance adopted by the Common
Council of the city of South Norfolk, Virginia, on November twenty-one,
nineteen hundred forty-six, and approved by the mayor, entitled, “An
ordinance to discontinue and vacate an unnamed street extending from
the intersection of Chesapeake Avenue and Chesapeake Drive to Sea-
board Avenue”, are hereby validated, ratified, approved and confirmed,
and the unnamed street in the city of South Norfolk, Virginia, extending
from the intersection of Chesapeake Avenue and Chesapeake Drive in
a southerly direction about two hundred ten feet to Seaboard Avenue,
as described in said ordinance, is hereby declared under said ordinance
to have been discontinued and vacated as a street. .
2. An emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
