Chap. 330.—An ACT to amend Chapter 415 of the Acts of Assembly of 1932,
approved March 31, 1932, which provided for a secondary system of highways
by adding a new section numbered 9-a providing for entry of certain towns
into the system. {S 315]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That chapter four hundred fifteen of the Acts of Assembly of
nineteen hundred thirty-two, approved March thirty-one, nineteen hun-
dred thirty-two, be amended by adding a new section numbered nine-a,
as follows: .
Section 9-a. In the case of any town incorporated for the first time
under an act of the General Assembly of nineteen hundred forty-eight
and which town is located in a county having a population of more
than thirty-five thousand and which county adjoins two cities lying
wholly in this State each of which has a population in excess of fifty
thousand, all according to the last preceding United States census such
town shall share in the distribution and allocation authorized under
section nine of this act, as amended, provided such town has a population
of more than thirty-five hundred as shown by a census taken in the
town since its incorporation.
2. An emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
