Virginia, as amended, be amended and reenacted as follows:
Section 2711. The board of supervisors of each county shall
assemble at the courthouse of said county in regular session once

the board, and it may adjourn from day to day, or time to time,
not beyond the time fixed for the regular meeting, until the business
before it is completed, provided the board of supervisors of any
county adjoining a county having a population in excess of one
thousand a square mile as shown by the last preceding United States

any business coming before the board; provided, however, that

two regular meetings each month, upon such days as may be pre-
scribed by an order of the board. It may also hold special meetings
at such other times as it may deem necessary. The meeting held in
July shall be known as the annual meeting of the board, and that
held in January as its semi-annual meeting.
