Chap. 313.—An ACT to authorize an extension of time in certain counties for
current reassessment of real estate. [S 319]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. In each county having a population of not less than thirty
thousand nor more than forty thousand persons the time for com-
pleting the current reassessment and complying with the provisions
of section two hundred forty-seven of the Tax Code of Virginia is
extended to the first day of May, nineteen hundred forty-eight.

2. An emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
