Chap. 271.—An ACT for the relief of Richard Mantz. [H 139]

Whereas, certain agents, employees and servants of the State
Highway Commission were employing a truck belonging to Richard
Mantz, Edinburg, Virginia, for snow removal in Shenandoah
County, Virginia, on February twenty-fifth, nineteen hundred and
forty-seven ; and,
Whereas, during the progress of the work a highway truck
backed into the Mantz truck, resulting in certain damage to the
right front fender, grill and head lamp assembly ; Now, Therefore,
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That there be paid to Richard Mantz, out of funds appro-
priated to the Department of Highways, the sum of sixty-two
dollars and eighty-one cents, such payment to be made by the
State Treasurer upon a warrant issued by the Comptroller.
