Chap. 146.—An_ ACT to prohibit the hunting of certain game in the county
of Charles City with certain firearms, and to prescribe penalties. (H 147]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. Section 1. It shall be unlawful to hunt or shoot deer in
e county of Charles City with a rifle of any caliber.

Section 2. It shall be unlawful to hunt or shoot any wild bird
wild animal in the county of Charles City with a rifle larger than
‘enty-two (.22) caliber.

Section 3. Any person violating any provision of this act shall
‘guilty of a misdemeanor and punished accordingly.

Chap. 147—An ACT to authorize the governing bodies of certain counties to
permit the hunting and killing of foxes in such counties at any time. [H 155]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. The governing bodies of the counties of Bland, Craig, West-
oreland and Northumberland may by ordinance permit the killing
foxes in such counties at any time.
