Chap. 74.—An ACT to authorize the Department of State Police to dispose of
certain of its property, and to appropriate the funds received. [H B 211]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. The Department of State Police, with the consent of the Gov-
ernor in writing first obtained, is hereby authorized and empowered to
convey to the Virginia Electric and Power Company upon such terms
and conditions, and for such consideration as it deems proper, all right,
title and interest of the Commonwealth and of the Department in and
to a certain power transmission line upon the property of the Department
of State Police at State Police Headquarters, Midlothian Turnpike,
Chesterfield county. The Department is further authorized to execute
such instruments as may be necessary to convey the property herein au-
thorized to be disposed of.

The funds realized from such sale and conveyance shall be deposited
in the State treasury and are hereby appropriated to the Department of
State Police.
