Chap. 60.—An ACT to amend Chapter 227 of the Acts of Assembly of 1942, ap-
proved March 14, 1942, relating to child welfare, children’s homes, et cetera,
by adding a new section numbered 21, excepting certain institutions from the
provisions of the chapter. [H B 78]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That chapter two hundred twenty-seven of the Acts of As-
sembly of nineteen hundred forty-two, approved March fourteen, nine-
teen hundred forty-two, be amended by adding a new section numbered
twenty-one, as follows:

Section 21. This chapter not to apply to certain children’s homes.
None of the provisions of this chapter shall apply to any private school
or charitable institution incorporated under the laws of this State, which
is located west of Sandy Ridge and on the watersheds of Big Sandy
River, and to which no contributions are made by the State or anv agency
thereof.
