Chap. 347.—An ACT to authorize the Town of Buchanan to sell and convey a
small parcel of land to The Liberty Limestone Corporation. [H B 418]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. The Town of Buchanan is hereby authorized to sell to The
Liberty Limestone Corporation, a Virginia corporation, for the sum of
one hundred dollars cash in hand upon delivery of deed, a small parcel
of land owned by the town, situate at the intersection of Main and Ex-
change Streets and bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at a point marked “X”, on the map recorded in the rec-
ords of Botetourt county, Virginia, in Surveyor’s Book eighteen hun-
dred twenty-one-eighteen hundred thirty-three, page three hundred
thirty-nine, on the north side of Main Street in said town, and being the
northeast corner of Lot one hundred twenty-two of said town, thence N.
two degrees twenty-seven minutes E. eighty-four feet to a point on the
south side of Exchange Street; thence with Exchange Street S. eighty-
seven degrees thirty-three minutes E. thirty and five-tenths feet to a point
on said south side of said Exchange Street as now located, thence follow-
ing a curve to the right having a radius of nineteen feet and eleven inches,
and following a concrete curb to a point on the north or northwest side
of Main Street as now located seventy-eight and three-tenths feet from
the said point marked “X”’, the place of beginning, thence following the
said north, or northwest side of Main Street S. forty-two degrees ten
minutes W. seventy-eight and three-tenths feet to the place of beginning,
all bearings being present bearings.

The mayor of the town 1s authorized to execute, in the name of the
town, and deliver to The Liberty Limestone Corporation, a deed con-
veying to it the above described parcel of land with covenants of special
warranty, upon the payment of the purchase money as above specified,
to which deed the corporate seal of the town shall be affixed and attested
by the town recorder.
