Chap. 324.—An ACT for the relief of Robert Tyler. [S B 96]

Whereas, certain agents, servants and employees of the State High-
way Commission were using a power shovel to load a truck belonging
to Robert Tyler, with sand clay material at the Bell Pit in King and
Queen County, Virginia, on April thirtieth, nineteen hundred forty-five;
and,
Whereas, while loading this truck, the bolt that holds the hoist brake
broke causing the dipper of this power shovel to fall loaded into the
body of the truck, damaging frame, body and rear end housing; now,
therefore,
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That there be paid to Robert Tyler, out of funds appropriated
to the Department of Highways, the sum of fifty dollars, such payment
to be made by the State Treasurer upon a warrant issued by the Comp-
troller.
