Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That section nine hundred seventy-nine of the Code of Virginia,
as amended, be amended and re-enacted, as follows:

Section 979. Name of school.—The institution heretofore estab-
lished under the name of the Virginia State School for Colored Deaf and
Blind Children shall be, and is hereby continued under the name of Vir-
ginia State School at Newport News. All statutes relating to the Vir-
ginia State School for Colored Deaf and Blind Children shall be con-
strued as relating to Virginia State School at Newport News.
