Chap. 279.—An ACT to authorize the State Hospital Board to grant and convey
to The Brunswick-Balke-Collender Company, an easement for a_ railroad
siding over and across the property of the Southwestern State Hospital at
Marion, Virginia. [Ss B 236]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. The State Hospital Board, with the written approval of the
Governor, is authorized and empowered to grant and convey unto The
Brunswick-Balke-Collender Company, its successors and assigns, by a
proper deed or deeds, executed by its chairman and under its "seal, and
for such consideration as the Board shall deem proper, an easement for
a railroad siding over and across a small triangular lot of land of the
Southwestern State Hospital near Marion, Virginia, more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at a post at a corner common to the lands of The Bruns-
wick-Balke-Collender Company, Norfolk and Western Railway Com-
pany, and the Southwestern State Hospital, thence north fifty-five degrees
twenty-three minutes east with Norfolk and Western Railway Com-
pany right of way and fence one hundred forty-two and eight-tenths feet
to a stake in the fence line, thence plus or minus thirty-seven degrees
thirty minutes west one hundred forty-six and two-tenths feet to a post,
corner with Brunswick-Balke-Collender Company, thence with Bruns-
wick-Balke-Collender Company fence plus or minus north thirty-seven
degrees fifty-three minutes west forty-five and two-tenths feet to the
point of beginning; containing approximately seventy-four one-hun-
dredths acres.
